We guarantee your eBook will display correctly for five years in the purchased formats. If ever you discover an error in text or formatting that we put into your work, we will gladly fix it free FOR LIFE.
In addition, if you want to change or edit your content, we will gladly do small edits (up to 30 minutes) for FREE.
Custom CSS (non-image) design is included in all prices. Non-fiction and poetry require custom quotes, but guidelines are listed below.
Most customers get both the Kindle file for distribution on Amazon and an Epub file for distribution on Barnes & Noble as well as the iBookstore.
Please note that all listed prices are estimates. If a book includes pull quotes, images, tables, and other time-consuming items to format, a different price than the one listed below will be quoted (and approved by you) BEFORE we begin work.

Design Options
Custom CSS design (no images or special fonts) is included with all formatting work we do.
PRINT DESIGN REPLICATION: If you’ve had interior book design for your print book, then we’ll use images to maintain your special fonts for chapter headings, dropcaps, and other page designs.
CUSTOM INTERIOR DESIGN WITH IMAGES: If you’ve had no interior book design done, and you want a custom interior design done including full-title page, half-title page, stylized chapter headings, special fonts, images, dividing pages, and layout, add $150 to the formatting price.
Non-fiction Prices
Non-fiction prices are approximately $1 per page; please contact us for a custom quote.
INDEX REPLICATION: A linked index based on an already-created index. Please contact us for a custom quote.
FOOTNOTES, ENDNOTES, & CROSSREFERENCES: We will link (both forward and backward) all endnotes, footnotes and crossreferences. Please contact us for a custom quote.
A la Carte Options
The following services are available on an a la carte basis. If you need any other minor formats or services done, please contact us.
COPY EDITING: Typically one penny per word. Please contact us for a custom quote.
INTERIOR PRINT DESIGN: Interior print design suitable for CreateSpace or Lightning Source (LSI) is $200 for a typical-length project. For longer works or non-fiction, please contact us for a custom quote.
BASIC EBOOK FORMATTING: (Fiction) A validated Kindle and ePub file for $200 up to 125,000 words. Every 1,000 words after 125,000 is an extra $1.
SHORT FICTION: A novella of 40,000 words or less is priced at $50 less than the above quotes. A short story of 20,000 words or less is priced at $75 less than the above quotes.
SMASHWORDS FORMATTING: Please remember that because of the limitations of Smashwords’ Meatgrinder Software, a Smashwords format will be functional and compliant, but not as beautiful as our other work. $50 for the basic fiction project.
PRINT BOOK SCANNING: If you only have a printed copy of the book and no text-based source file, then getting the print to text is a two-step process with a time-consuming and manual double-checking process.
FIX-ITS: If you’ve tried to format your eBook by yourself but got stuck, then fix-its are $25—$50, depending on the amount of fixing needed. Please note that if the file is unfixable and needs to be done from scratch, regular formatting prices will apply. (We will always give you a quote and wait for your approval, first.)
EDITS: We will always fix errors in text or formatting that we introduced into your work for free. Minor typo edits of the text are free, up to 30 minutes of work, for five years. After 30 minutes, edits are charged at $60 per hour.

DEPOSIT: A 50% deposit is required to begin work. For more expensive projects, the deposit amount will be quoted.
PAYMENT: Payment (paypal, credit cards or bank transfer) can be sent via paypal to our email address. If you wish to send a check, please contact us for our physical address.
TERMS: After work is completed, files will be sent to you for review. Payment is due within 15 days. Once payment is received, the finalized and uploadable files will be sent to you, as well as all editable source files.
